Fruit Beer Weather!
One of the best things about spring and summer in Colorado is the wide variety of fruit beers that show up in our craft breweries. Many types of fruit beers were first brewed in Belgium and, here at Bruz, we like to make beers in the true Belgian style. We have just released two fruit blond beers, and a third fruit beer is coming soon.
Bruz Raspberry-Lime Blond
For two of these new releases, we started with our Solange Blond Ale (5.2% ABV). Delicious on its own, Solange is very crushable and marries beautifully with a wide range of fruits. The malts and yeast give it a distinctly Belgian character and complexity, and, as always at Bruz, we use only the highest quality fresh fruits and fruit purees. We never let the fruit dominate the flavor profile because we are making beer, not soda pop.
Raspberry-Lime Blond
Raspberry-Lime Blond is a dusty red color with a pink head and an aroma of tart fruit and citrus peel. The aroma leads into big, vibrant fresh raspberry flavors with fresh lime and subtle malt in the background, and a clean fruity finish. It’s so tasty and refreshing, you’ll want more than one!
Mr. Prickles
Mr. Prickles is a deep red colored beer with a vibrant pink head and 5.2% alcohol. Soft fruit aromas and floral notes lead into earthy flavors with prominent cactus fruit and pomegranate. The finish is long, dry and fruity.

Wipel and Orange Wiple
Orange Wiple is a hybrid Witbier and Tripel (thus Wiple) that, at 7.5%, is both highly drinkable and refreshing.
Both Raspberry-Lime Blond and Mr. Prickles Blond are on tap now at both Bruz locations. Wiple and Orange Wiple are releasing on Friday, May 9th. Fruit sour beers available in out taprooms include Da’Vine Revenant – a tart 7.9% fouder-aged Saison fermented on Marquette grapes, and Whoa Blackberry - a 7.9% golden sour ale aged on blackberries. You can still get our sour Peach Pistachio (6.8%) and Peach Grisette (5.2%) as well.
Kick off spring and summer with these light, fresh beers and take them out into the sunshine (where they taste best)!
Santé!
