New! Flavors of Fall Fruits

Aged on Colorado Puots

Bruz Beers is honoring a long-time Belgian tradition with our release of two rustic Saisons aged on fruit. Belgian farmhouse brewers have long traded their beers for fruit grown by neighboring farmers in their areas. The brewers then aged the fruit with the beers, producing some of the interesting and unique Saisons. This is possible because there are not too many rules around the Saison beer style.

Two New Fruit Saisons

This year, we are releasing Pluots–a Saison aged on fresh pluots (a hybrid of plums and apricots) from Palisade, Colorado. Also being released is Grapes–a Saison aged on Colorado Gewurztraminer grapes. These beers personify rustic fall farmhouse ales.

Colorado Pluot Saison

Pluots is a pink-orange beer with a white head and a fruity and spicy aroma. This leads into tart flavors of plummy stone fruit with a light touch of funk. Its finish is long, dry, fruity and spicy.

Aged on Colorado Gewurztraminer Grapes

Gewurztraminer Grape Saison

Grapes is a deep golden beer with a touch of citrus on the nose. Rich wine-grape flavors come to the forefront and the finish is long and slightly tart with notes of spice.

Both Pluots and Grapes are available now in both Bruz taprooms—67th and Pecos and at Colfax and York. Quantities are limited, so come in for a pint and take home a crowler or two.

Santé!
