One Dark, One Light

Trick or Beer time—Halloween! And this year our Halloween release is actually two beers—both lagers . . . one light and one dark.

The Light Side

Right Hand Man is our crisp, clean Pilsner. It is a pale golden color with a big white head. Made with one of the world’s best malts—Weyermann Floor-malted Pilsner malt--so maltiness comes to the forefront. The malt is nicely balanced with a good charge of noble hops for a delicate crispness. If you like a good Pilsner, you’re going to lover Right Hand Man.

The Dark Side

Going over to the dark side, our second Halloween release is Czech Dark Lager. One of our few beers not brewed in the Belgian style, Czech Dark Lager is so good we couldn’t resist making it. Its dark amber color looks black in the glass with a dense light tan head. Its aroma and flavor profiles are malty to the max with a nice touch of roastiness. The clean lager finish makes this gem of a beer infinitely drinkable.
