Talus is a Belgian-style Tripel – a strong blond ale originally made by Trappist monks. It is the epitome of the "iron first in the velvet glove." Talus’ soft malts and subdued bitterness give it a smooth body, a pleasant sweetness accented by tropical fruit and cloves, and a long dry finish. Despite its considerable strength, Talus is a very drinkable beer that always leaves you wanting more.
APPEARANCE: Deep gold with a dense off-white head
FOOD PAIRINGS: Talus is an excellent beer with cheeses like Spanish Manchego, French Epoisses and Roquefort, and English Stilton.
